Our client in Twickenham approached us during the final stages of their renovation, looking to divide the living room from the open kitchen diner. The goal was to create two defined zones—allowing one side of the family to enjoy a movie while others could watch the football in the kitchen—without compromising the open-plan feel or the flow of light.

To achieve this, we used our InoCross20 system, introducing a single door and fixed screen connected at a 90-degree angle using a structural post. This layout not only offered separation but also worked beautifully with the home’s modern architectural lines. The client opted for full-height doors to complement the generous ceiling height and provide an airy, open feel.

A double door configuration with one fixed side allowed for wider access, ensuring practicality for day-to-day living and ease when moving furniture. The doors featured a minimalist three-bar design and our Trim handle—welded directly into the frame for a sleek, understated look. The placement of the doors was also carefully considered, cleverly concealing the junction between painted walls and textured wallpaper for a refined finish.

Finished in black, the frame created a bold contrast and tied in effortlessly with the rest of the property. The project is a clear example of how thoughtful planning and precise detailing can deliver both form and function. The result is a light-filled hallway that connects the spaces while offering flexibility—perfect for modern family life.
