Our Poole project client sought internal glazed doors to complement her modern penthouse in Poole, Dorset. The apartment, spanning two floors with a wrap-around balcony and sea views, featured a stylish interior.

The project had two phases. Initially, we installed a double and single door set for the open-plan entertaining area. Impressed by the results, the client decided to replace four more door sets. She desired a design with three horizontal bars and one vertical bar per door, paired with our popular Guarded handle.

The first two doors, featuring clear glass, enhanced the open, airy feel of the property. The minimal box handles added a finishing touch. The single door latched into its frame, while the main door on the double set latched into the secondary door, secured by top and bottom shoot bolts. The dual-guarded handles on the double door set created perfect symmetry and sophistication.

The four additional doors served specific purposes. The client required a lockable internal entrance door with reeded glass for privacy, obscuring the lift doors. The bathroom door and the cupboard doors used opaque glass for additional privacy and a defined visual barrier. The client requested a bronze finish to match her external sliding doors, and we matched it with RAL 7013 (Brown Grey), complementing her home beautifully.

This project showcases the impact of our doors on interior design, illustrating how different glass and handle options can achieve desired aesthetics. The choice of glass played a crucial role, with clear glass for light transmission and frosted glass for privacy without sacrificing natural light. Our extensive glass range allows clients to customise their doors to their needs.

The entrance hallway double doors included a main and secondary door, while the cupboard double doors were free-swinging without a rebate for flexibility. We suggested the minimalistic Trim handle for the cupboard doors, welded only to the outside.

Replacing the existing timber doors with InoCross20 internal doors transformed the residence, providing slim frameworks and minimal sight lines. These doors became a statement of elegance, serving as ideal partitions while preserving connectivity throughout the apartment.
