In a beautifully designed home in Queen’s Park, London, we installed a collection of bespoke steel-framed doors that combined functionality with a distinct design language. The installation included two double door sets and a single door, all tied together by a unique and carefully considered cross-bar arrangement.

Each door was crafted with two horizontal bars and a curved half-circle detail. When paired, the double doors form a striking full circle motif, creating a focal point that feels both playful and refined. This design was not chosen in isolation; it was carefully aligned with other circular elements throughout the home, including a statement lamp in the living room and smaller accessories that echo the same form.

The result is a sense of continuity and cohesion, where the doors not only serve their practical purpose but also contribute to the home’s broader design narrative. The circular detailing softens the strong geometry of the steel frame, giving the doors a more contemporary and approachable character. The curve introduces a sense of movement and lightness, ensuring the installations feel elegant rather than rigid.
