This project began during the design phase of a new kitchen, where initial renders featured a glazed door within one corner of the space to enhance the flow of light. Seeing this visualised sparked a greater interest in developing a more considered glazed solution, transforming a simple design feature into a key architectural element within the home.

From the outset, the brief was clear, maximise glass and achieve the most refined sightlines possible. In response, we introduced our most minimal system, selected for its clean profiles and ability to deliver a light, unobtrusive aesthetic. To further support this objective, our Trim handle was specified, removing the need for a bulkier handle detail and allowing the glazing to remain as uninterrupted as possible.

As the design evolved, the simplicity of the proposed bar layout proved to be a natural fit for the space. Through further refinement, the handles were elongated to align precisely with the horizontal bars, creating a cohesive and considered composition. This subtle adjustment brought greater balance to the design, ensuring every element felt intentional.

The completed installation delivers a calm and elegant division between the living and kitchen/dining spaces. The door introduces structure without interrupting the openness of the layout, allowing natural light to pass freely while maintaining a clear distinction between the two areas.

The result is a beautifully resolved feature that feels both architectural and effortless. The slim profiles and aligned detailing work in harmony to create a refined focal point within the home, enhancing the overall space with a sense of clarity and precision. The finished design integrates seamlessly into the wider interior, elevating the overall feel of the project.
