Our Harpenden client sought slim profile Cross Bar doors and chose single doors, single doors with fixed side screens, and a double door set with fixed side screens for their renovation. They preferred three horizontal bars on all doors, which facilitated the design process. The double door set featured dual Guarded handles, providing symmetry and balance. The main handle served as the working lever, while the latch secured the secondary door, supported by top and bottom shoot bolts. Opening the secondary door required releasing the shoot bolts and using the secondary handle.

Our client appreciated the traditional charm of the guarded handle and lock block, opting for a full-length lock block between the second and third bars. This infusion of classic elements complemented their modern home. While our guarded handles are typically rectangular to match the door's profile, we customised them in a rounded style to match the client's existing door handles, per their request.
