As part of a full refurbishment that included a rear extension, new kitchen and bathrooms, and garden landscaping, our Romford client sought internal steel doors to divide key areas of the home while maintaining a sense of openness. We were involved early in the design process, working closely with the client to ensure our doors would complement the wider renovation plans.

Two doors were specified, both tailored to meet practical and visual needs. In the front reception space, our InoCross20 Bi-Fold Door was selected to separate the living room from the adjacent playroom. The folding mechanism allowed for full-width access when open, while still offering the ability to close off the space without compromising the natural flow of light.

The second configuration—a single door with a smaller access panel—created a subtle divide between the hallway and open-plan kitchen/living area. This design allowed for day-to-day functionality while blending effortlessly into the surrounding interiors.

Both doors were finished in classic black with slim, clean profiles that aligned with the home’s updated contemporary aesthetic. The result was a beautifully cohesive interior that balanced practicality and style, leaving the client thrilled with how seamlessly the doors elevated the look and feel of her transformed home.
